I broke my leg working in the back yard on July 23, 2008. The wheel barrel was heavy and I was tired. It got wobbly and started to take me into the pond with the fish. Since I didn’t want to drown, I pushed myself away from the pond and landed on the grass only my right leg didn’t clear the edge of the pond and came down with a bang. Because of the way it broke, I had to stay off it for a total of 3 months with no weight on it. I started to walk again in October and am now doing fine.
